About Us:
Debra L. Braverman, M.D.,
Founder
Dr. Braverman is a nationally recognized expert in EECP treatment who has been featured on the CBS Early Show,
in TIME, and in other national publications. She is a graduate of
Cornell University Medical College (now known as the Weill Medical
College of Cornell University) and is board-certified
by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is a clinical assistant professor
at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and the founder of
Braverman EECP Heart Centers (formerly known as VitalHeart EECP
Clinics), the largest EECP practice in the United States. Dr. Braverman
has treated more patients with EECP than any other physician in the
country. She is involved with ongoing clinical research in the field of
EECP, and her work has been featured at national meetings of the
American Heart Association, the American Federation for Medical
Research, and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation. In March 2002, Dr. Braverman was appointed Medical
Director of the International EECP Therapists Association
and is integrally involved in setting national standards of excellence
in the provision of EECP treatment through an active EECP therapist
certification process.
Allen Braverman, President, CEO and Co-Founder
Allen Braverman has 40 years' experience as an entrepreneur and
corporate executive. He has been in the healthcare field for
the past 20 years as a senior executive for Mediq, Inc., as president
of Mediq Care, Inc., and as president of VitalCare, Inc., a long-term
subacute care company established in California. He completed 30 years
of military service and
retired as a captain.
